Check that the builder listens to you when you talk, is able to answer your questions, is contactable via phone and email and cares about you and your house.
A helpful pre-start consultant is like a pot of gold. It makes a world of difference when they genuinely want to help you make selections, research products and make pre-start easier for you. Check that the pre-start consultant has a customer service background. You want one that does.
